Hanover,New HampshireSeddon Savage, M.D, is a clinician, educator and consultant in the fields of pain medicine and addiction medicine. She is certified in pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine and in addiction medicine by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). She is a fellow of ASAM. Dr. Savage is an associate professor of anesthesiology on the adjunct faculty of Dartmouth Medical School and serves as a pain consultant at the U.S. Veteranís Administration Medical Center Manchester. She chairs the ASAM Pain Committee and the Liaison Committee on Pain and Addiction, a joint committee of ASAM, the American Pain Society and the American Academy of Pain Medicine. The Committee addresses interfacing areas in pain medicine and addiction medicine. Additionally, she serves on the Executive Committee and Physician Health Committee of the New Hampshire Medical Society and chairs the Medical Society Task Force on Pain and the Task Force on End of Life Care. She is a frequent lecturer on topics related to pain and addiction and has published a number of articles on these issues.
