Seeking formal training in medical ethics? Rush University, the academic arm of Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, offers a completely on-line series of courses leading to a certificate of graduate study in health care ethics. Intended for professionals who currently practice in the health care field or for those with a deep interest in health care ethics. Three 3-credit courses to be completed in one year offer instruction in basic moral theory, in-depth case analysis, current ethical issues and intensive work on a project of the student's choosing, generally related to the student's field of practice.
